If your kids are anything like ours, they’re not one’s to shy away from a trip to the aquarium. They can literally stare at the fish and sea creatures for hours and hours on end, long after mom and dad’s backs have given in from all the standing around! A visit to the aquarium is not only a super fun, educational activity for kids but it’s also a great place for a kids birthday party!
To help you plan your kids aquarium party, we’ve linked some of our favorite sea-themed invitations below and included a few food ideas to help you plan the perfect aquarium party for your little one! All the text on the invitations is editable so can be customised to suit an aquarium theme.
Aquarium Party Invitation
Our aquarium party invitation is a firm favorite amongst the kiddos and a real classic. Featuring a friendly-looking shark, dolphins and an array of sea creatures, it’s sure to get the party goers excited for all the cool aquatic life they can expect to see!
Yellow Submarine Aquarium Party Invitation
The great thing about an aquarium party is any sea-themed invitation suits the theme! Many aquariums feature submarines in their exhibits, so a yellow submarine party invitation would be perfect if that’s your little one’s main drawcard for wanting to go to the aquarium.
Shark Invitation Aquarium Party
If the birthday boy or girl plans on heading straight to the shark tank at their aquarium party, our shark invitation is the way to go. Although the sharks at the aquarium may not look as friendly as this cute little guy!
Octopus Invitation Aquarium Party
If your child is fascinated by strange sea creatures, our octopus invitation featuring one of the ocean’s most mysterious creatures is a must!
Kraken Invitation Aquarium Party
If the birthday boy plans on spending most of his aquarium party in the pirate ship at the aquarium, then a kraken invitation is a no-brainer. Featuring the legendary kraken wrapping his tentacles around a ship, it’s sure to set the scene for your little pirate and his matey’s!
But wait!! There’s more!! We’ve also got some super cute food ideas for you that are simple but effective.
How cute are these crab croissants!! Fill delicious, buttery croissants with ham and cheese or any other fillings (Nutella, anyone?). Grab some googley eyes or make eyes by cutting circles from white board and coloring in dots with a black marker. Glue them to the tops of skewers and pop two skewers into each croissant.
We also LOVE these octopus cake pops! Cover store-bought or homemade cake pops in orange frosting. Add eyes and tentacles using frosting and sprinkle on some edible glitter for a “just-out-the-water” look! Cute and delicious!
