Here at Sunshine Parties, we think it’s important to find the magic in everyday life! If you’ve got a little girl, you’ve probably listened in on some of her imaginary games, filled with fantasy and wonder. And if she’s anything like our girls, she’s probably a fan of fairies. I mean, what’s not to like? They’re pint-sized so can fit anywhere, they can fly (take that morning commute!) and they can sprinkle magical fairy dust to make all your dreams come true. Sign us up! So, what better way to let the magic in, than with printable fairy doors!
Fairy doors, you ask? In your daughter’s beautiful mind, a fairy door is a portal to an enchanted world. It’s a way for fairies to come and go as they please, but a doorway that us humans can’t open or go through. Even though your daughter can’t enter fairyland herself, she can leave notes, gifts and “fairy dust” on the doorstep for the fairy to collect on her next trip into our world.
To help you open the portal to the enchanting realm of fairies, we have created a set of printable fairy doors that includes a printable fairy door, a welcome mat and some bunting. The set includes a pink and a blue version, depending on your daughter’s color preference.
Just print out the set and stick in a secret spot to let the fairies come and go as they please. Obviously it’s especially handy if your daughter is expecting a visit from the tooth fairy! Leave the teeth and a note at the doorstep and wake up to a special delivery! We have a few other tooth fairy printables including letters from the tooth fairy, lost tooth reports and a certificate of receipt from the tooth fairy to make childhood extra magical!
You could also use the set as part of a fairy garden craft project. Laminate the printables and use them at the entrance of your fairy garden which you can construct in a container of your choosing or in a cosy corner of the garden.
Whether she uses her fairy door as part of everyday play, to summon the tooth fairy or to create a magical fairy garden, we know it will add some magic to her little world (and hopefully yours!).
