Once your fairy garden laser cutouts are ready, you can decorate and personalise them with craft paint. We painted the little forest mushrooms red and white, and also gave the door a cheerful splash of color to help guide the fairies to the right place!
Now all that’s left to do is assemble the fairy garden! Find a quiet, shady area in the garden…extra points if you have a mossy tree or stump at your disposal! Fairies are notoriously shy creatures, so they’ll want a little privacy and may even leave behind a gold coin or some magical fairy dust as a token of their appreciation (wink, wink mom).
Prop the fairy door against the tree trunk, fix the window to the tree and decorate to your heart’s content. You may even want to leave some pretty petals or flowers in the fairy garden to welcome the fairies in! You’ve got mail – fairy mail, that is!
Like we mentioned before, fairies are shy which is why humans are rarely lucky enough to spot a fairy! So, naturally, in order to communicate with your little ones, fairies will leave behind fairy mail with a special note just for your little girl! All you’ll need to make a hand delivered note from a fairy happen, is our printable fairy mail and envelope.
Easily edit the letter text and then print out the envelope and letter. Glue the envelope together, pop in the letter and for some extra magic, throw in a little glitter for that fairy dust effect! Leave the fairy mail in the fairy garden for your littles to find or as a letter from the tooth fairy when one of the kids loses a tooth. Because the text can be edited, you can use it again and again by just changing the wording each time!
