We will definitely forgive you if you feel you have read that title incorrectly! But, you haven’t. We love you, our customers, our blog readers, our most amazing tribe! And my precious Ollie just turned 4! It’s too much. It feels like only a twinkle of a rabbit’s fluffy tail ago that he was just being born, and now he’s FOUR! And after watching the movie about Peter Rabbit, he was inspired to have a Peter Rabbit party. And so were we, so we got to work. AND, we have decided, this one is for you, for free! It’s ideal for a young kid’s party (works for a boy or a girl) and all the text is editable, so it could even be used as a baby shower party set. So versatile, SOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful. Let’s take a look at the party then shall we?
Oh, actually, let’s start with getting some guests on board! We loved this theme SOOOOO much we decided to do TWO invitations, so you can choose which one you want. And yes, they are both still free. There is the classic Peter invitation with foliage and vegetable wreath, or the slightly more ‘boyish’ Peter Rabbit / red tractor invitation. They are an instant download, you edit them with your own information (see this quick 4 minute ‘How To’ video if this is the first time you are downloading one of our printables, makes it really easy for you!) and print at home or your local print shop!
Now that you have chosen your invitation, lets wonder on over to the party itself. This party theme was truly easy, fun and natural to set up. With all the printables, every detail is taken care of. And you don’t need to go wild spending money in the shops, because the decor can be made up of pots, plants vegetables, and very natural textures and colors, which makes it look just STUNNING! Pop your eyes on this:|
See what I mean? We used wood, plants, some gorgeous blue and white striped fabric, blue and white bunting, our printable directional signage, a scarecrow – you see, all stuff you have around. Let’s dive in to the detail.
And so the rascal rebel rabbit is featured all over the party. Full of mischief and mayhem, he pops up on cupcakes, directional signs and food labels. See him in action:
This cake is TOOOOOO cute. The riot of color is refreshing, all that greenery! To make this – well, a square chocolate cake to start. Nothing fancy there. With chocolate icing for the ‘soil’. A picket fence made of ice-cream sticks, painted white and a compartmentalized vegetable garden. THEN, Cath, the fabulous fondant maestro that she is, created this abundant garden by hand. She painstakingly and accurately created lettuces, tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower, terracotta pots and climbing vines out of fondant icing. Beautiful! If this is something you would love to do, excellent. If not, outsource! If neither are an option don’t stress! The gorgeous cake toppers we created transform ANY cake into a Peter Rabbit cake!
You can’t have a bunch of Peter Rabbits running around and NOT go foraging in McGregor’s garden now, can you? So, we created this cool foraging game as part of your FREE Peter Rabbit party download set. You print out the tokens, and hide them around, and the naughty rabbits have to go rummaging around to find them. And tick off the tokens they have found on their card. It’s LOTS of fun!
And while they are doing that, who could resist some cupcakes with a scarecrow with Peter’s special blue shirt on? Or some Bunny Poop and Carrot Juice anyone?
And of course, don’t forget to pin to your favorite board and tell all your friends too!
Hi there. I would love to use this for my son’s party. I have downloaded the PDFs but my son’s name is not Oliver and he is not turning 4! How can I obtain editable versions? Do I have to purchase them from somewhere? Thanks
Hi Natalie
The PDF’s are editable – you need to open them in Adobe reader and all the text is editable.
There is a handy 4 minutes video tutorial that goes through the editing process step by step, you can find it here:
