Recently, we have all seen the internet covered in various shades of pink… so we decided we needed to sprinkle a little pink around our corner of the internet too! And since we love our subscribers, we are giving away this set of Barbie Birthday Party printables for FREE!!!
Barbie is a classic! This set could be the perfect birthday party for a 6 year old or a even 60 year old! Bridal showers to Baby showers, a Barbie Party can be the perfect fit! It is a timeless theme, just like princesses or fairies, it just gets us all a little nostalgic and giddy inside.
Since Barbie is such a classic, we thought we would keep it quite simple but with a bit of sparkle. We purchased a piece of pink sequin fabric from our nearest fabric store, found all the pink treats available at our local grocery store and the printables did the rest!
We kept our cake simple with a vanilla sponge and finished off with white buttercream icing and pink sprinkles, then we just added our Barbie cake topper printable to create that ‘Wow’ factor!
Simple vanilla cupcakes with pink icing finished off with pink glitter printable cupcake wrappers and printable cake toppers are always a hit. We also added some butter cookies with Barbie Icing, which are better known as ‘Corvette Cookies’ in Barbie world, and these cookies added a nice pop of pink and white to the table and were complemented by our editable Barbie food labels.
To dilute the amount of sugar offered by this party table, we added some water bottles to the table for the kiddies. These waters are tied into the theme with our printable Barbie water bottle labels wrapped around them, with fully editable text.
We always love adding food labels to our party table. It is a fun way of adding theme related words to the party and also letting the guests know exactly what they are eating… in case of any peanut allergies etc.
The set also includes a name banner. This one says ‘Barbie’, however all the text is editable so you are able to change it to a name if you wish.
For a finishing touch we created these Barbie favor tags. We like the idea of sending our guests home with a non-sugary favor, so we found these cute pink sunglasses at our local dollar store which have a very ‘Barbie’ look to them. Or if you would like to send home a treat, a small bag of pink cotton candy is a fun idea.
