Description
Fresh, tasty and crunchy smoked salmon and cream cheese appetizers are really easy to make, taste delicious and are always a hit as an appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber
- 250ml tub cream cheese
- 1 Tbs finely chopped red onion
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3 Tbs finely chopped fresh dill
- 3 Tbs freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Smoked salmon slivers (rolled/ cut)
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper
- Small lemon wedges
Instructions
- Wash and use a peeler to cut ‘stripes’ into the cucumber lengthwise.
- Cut into 1cm discs and place a little salt to taste on each disc.
- Mix the cream cheese with all the above ingredients (except the salmon and crackers).
- Place dollops of ‘cream cheese yumminess’ on top of the cucumber discs.
- Finish off with smoked salmon slivers and garnish with black pepper/ dill and your little lemon wedges
