This Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe is my secret weapon that I am going to share with you. It never fails me! It is quick, easy, simply delicious and makes me feel like a baking goddess… so an all around winner!
When I was 38 weeks pregnant with my second little one, I found myself craving chocolate chip cookies one night! At that stage of my pregnancy I was not going to settle for just any chocolate chip cookies, I wanted delicious mouth watering, gooey, warm-my-heart Chocolate Chip Cookies. So I was off, onto Pinterest like a woman on a mission, searching for only THE BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe, but easy! I found one, it was lovely BUT… it needed a little work. Over the last 7 plus years of my little girl’s life I have perfected it. Adding a little here and a little there to make it what it is today.
This is a classic recipe, something you could pass on from one generation to the next as I promise you, once you have had one of these cookies, you are going to want to bake them for all sorts of reasons. Personally, we bake these cookies for gifts, holidays, birthdays and well, when the craving sets in!
My favorite reason to bake them is to gift them. It is how we share the love around here… in the form of baking! Every year I bake my children’s teachers a big batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies and package them up with these cute Santa’s Cookie Labels! They make the most wonderful homemade gift that is affordable and shows the love and care that went into it.

Description
This is one recipe you will save, and never regret trying. Then you will find yourself making it over and over again, and then trying to find reasons to make it again!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup White sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 3 Cups Flour
- 2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Cream, butter, oil and sugars
- Add eggs and beat until fluffy
- Add remaining ingredients
- Roll into 2inch balls, flatten slightly and place on a tray about 4 inches apart.
- Bake at 350°F or 180°C for 8-10 minutes!
