Ideas For Setting Up A Cute Valentine’s Day Breakfast Table

You’re probably rolling your eyes at me, thinking, “Sure Lou, that sounds great and all but where do I find the time to pull-off a Pinterest-worthy Valentine’s Day brekkie?”  Well, when Sunshine Parties is near, there’s no need to fear! We’ve got you covered with all our tips and tricks for setting up a magical Valentine’s day breakfast for your littles.

Because we love our clever readers, we’ve thrown in this little heart garland freebie just for you to help you get the ball rolling for your setup!

Do you love this gorgeous setup as much as we do? It really just exudes charm while being kid-appropriate with the doodle-style graphics. We used a plain white table cloth but if you’d like to use pink, red or something patterned, feel free to use creative license! A table always really pops when the height of items placed on the table is staggered so we used cakes stands of varying heights and propped some up on an upside-down bowl to create the effect. Use what you’ve got, borrow what you don’t and leave out what you can’t find… there’s no need to go out and buy special items for this setup. Let’s take a closer look at the various elements that brought this look together.

Who doesn’t love a donut tower? We grabbed some donuts from the local grocery store, stacked them on a plate and decorated with fresh roses and our printable tent cards. You can edit the text to suit whatever spread you lay out for the little ones to tuck into.

The next item we used to pull the setup together was our printable Valentine’s cupcake toppers. In our case, we added our kids names to the toppers so that they each had a cake just for them! Speaking of cake, we bought a vanilla strawberry cream sponge cake and used a circle cookie cutter to cut out mini cakes! Easy peasy!

If you’re having a sit-down breakfast, you can give your kids these fun Valentine’s Day themed activity placemats to color-in and complete all the games.

And of course, we’re not

And of course, we’re not opposed to a Valentine’s greeting card! Show a little love with a sweet message to your little Valentine’s or use as a Valentine’s Day card for teachers!

There are few things more important to children than feeling loved by their parents. And what better way to show your kids how much you love them than by making them a special Valentine’s Day breakfast?

Whether it’s heart-shaped pancakes or eggs in the shape of cupids, taking the time to make a festive and fun breakfast will let your kids know just how much they mean to you. And it’s a great way to start their day off on a positive note!
